Moroccan & Indian Chile Crisp Combo
Journey to the ancient medina in Fez, the culinary capitol of Morocco. We combine our own selective spice blend in the style of Ras el Hanout, the best a spice trader has on hand, adding umami and marrying it with jammy figs, fragrant orange peel, sweet ginger, and crunchy roasted almonds. Lastly, we infuse this exotic blend into a high-oleic sunflower oil. The result is transporting and an aromatic, robust condiment that will make mealtime magical.
oo’mämē Indian Chile Crisp celebrates the “land of spices” in Kerala, India. We have created our own garam masala, redolent of the indigenous spices from the southern Malabar coast. Layers of umami, roasted peanuts, grated coconut and sweet papaya married with these pungent spices and chiles transform basic into brilliant with the addition of just one spoonful.
Think of this as the one condiment that can do the work of ten. All this boldness in one jar makes it easy to cook with confidence and ease. Stir it in, marinate with it, dollop it on, simmer, stew, roast, grill, we got your back!!! Mealtime simplified with this fully cooked, ready to eat, add-at-any-stage-of-your-meal-prep solution.
oo’mämē Moroccan Chile Crisp celebrates the traditions of the ancient medina in Fez, the culinary capitol of Morocco. We blend our own Ras el Hanout, Arabic for “head of the shop”, a proprietary blend of the best possible spices that a seller has on hand. Our unique blend relies on peppercorns, piquant red chiles, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, ginger, anise, coriander and so much more. We leave many spices whole, delivering pops of flavors for a delightful surprise. Next, we add umami and marry with jammy figs, fragrant orange peel, sweet ginger, and crunchy sesame seeds and roasted almonds, and then infuse this exotic blend into a high-oleic sunflower oil. The result is an aromatic, robust condiment, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, and reminiscent of the big-on-flavor-food from Morocco’s culinary capital.
oo’mämē Indian Chile Crisp Spices was conceived from our love for the fragrant spices of southern India. Often called the “land of spices”, Kerala uses indigenous spices in Ayurvedic practices holistically, including topical as well as culinary uses. For the oo’mämē Indian Chile Crisp, we carefully select from the rich array available on the southern Malabar coast, and blend turmeric, fennel, mustard seed, tamarind, star anise, reshampati peppers, Kashmiri chiles and tamarind into our own garam masala. To that backbone of chiles and pungent spices, we add a layer of umami, roasted peanuts, grated coconut and sweet papaya. One spoonful of oo’mämē will take you from basic to brilliant. Elevate your cooking game to Master Chef status!

I've bought all of these Oomame crisps. They are among the best I've ever had. Moroccan is by far my favorite, but try them all (tastes vary, right?).
You are correct!! That's why we have four flavors, spanning the globe. Something for everyone!
I am not utilizing these sauces like I'd like because I want them to last forever! I just finish a meatball sandwich and put some Chile Crisp on it and OMG it brought it up a level. I also put on roasted cauliflower. YUM! Worth every penny and I didn't have to buy it, b/c it was a gift!
Janice, thank you so much for sharing your oo’mämē journey with us. Love the use with roasted cauliflower. Sounds like you are having fun exploring with our oo’mämē which makes us all so happy. I love mixing the Moroccan with couscous and vegetables!!!
This duo is a gala of flavors! The Indian Chili Crisp added to yogurt is our new favorite dipping sauce - casts shame on ordinary Garam Marsala spices. The Moroccan Crisp is so flavorful - we mixed it with merguez sausages and chickpeas. The flavors are truly authentic in Moroccan spices. Definitely 5 stars.
So glad to see your sense of adventure and trying new things. We worked so hard to bring the authentic flavors from Morocco and Indian in our own unique ways. So happy you liked them and love the addition to yogurt!
One of my favorite Christmas gifts...The Moroccan jar of pure magic is so spot on that it transforms the average couscous and chickpeas into an aromatic feast. Add your favorite veggie broth, ladel into big bowls and you are transported to Morocco. Love it!
So glad you are enjoying the Moroccan Magic and love your description of an 'aromatic feast'. That was our goal - almost like being in Fez!
